Cancellation Policies for Treks 

Case 1: If the trek is cancelled by The Himalayan Roots (Raithal Homestay)

(a) In case the trek is cancelled by the Himalayan roots due to any unavoidable Circumstances like Bharat bandh, Road block, natural calamity, landslides etc we will provide a trek Coupon where you can opt for the same trek or a different for a period of one year. in case you want to change the trek the amount you paid will be deducted if the new trek cost is greater then the cancelled trek and if the new trek cost is less the remaining amount will be refunded.

(b) In Case of Booking of less than 3 members and the trek is cancelled due to no further trekker available, the customer will get full refund and will get a discount coupon of 10% having validity for a year.

Case 2 : If the trek is cancelled by the customer

(a) If the trek is cancelled by the customer prior to 60 days of booking date – 100 % of the total trek fee will be refunded i.e. no cancellation Fees.

(b) If the trek is cancelled by the customer between 30-60 days of booking date – 70 % of the total trek fee will be refunded.

(c) If the trek is cancelled by the customer between 15-30 days of booking date – 50 % of the total trek fee will be refunded.

(d) If the trek is cancelled by the customer between 1-15 days of booking date – No Amount will be refunded.

Refunds are initiated and will reach to your account between 1 -14 working days of cancellation
